SOME LINES OF THE POST ABOUT ABORTION IN TEXAS (and my comments) July 21, 2023
--
Samantha was forced to carry in her womb a fetus with anacephaly, "incompatible with life. With no legal option for an abortion in Texas, she watched as, four hours after birth, her baby turned purple and died in her father's arms. [WORSE would have been to see her dismembered in a bucket].

Samantha Casiano, 29, and Luis Villasana, 25, care for four children and a goddaughter in their trailer home in East Texas. Halo, a baby girl, was to join them and they were looking forward to it. But a medical checkup at 20 weeks pregnant in December 2022 delivered a grim diagnosis.
In Texas, a doctor can go to jail for a century and lose his or her medical license if convicted of performing an abortion. So her doctor gave her no options and prescribed antidepressants, she explained.

"It was horrible because I wanted my daughter to rest in peace sooner rather than later, and I had to wait until she was born," she detailed. [The child was going to rest in peace sooner or later. She wanted to kill her.]

She received medical leave to work from home and wait there for the birth. In the meantime, she had to endure congratulations and awkward questions of what plans she had for the baby, when her pregnancy, according to the diagnosis, was "incompatible with life." [And wouldn't it have been more awkward to tell friends that she had butchered her or burned her with saline?

Samantha is one of thirteen patients who have sued the state of Texas, in the southern United States, after being denied an abortion despite health complications. They are asking the courts to clarify which are the "medical exceptions" to perform this procedure. [You cannot kill a person because he/she is sick, then they will continue with the elderly or, as has already happened in a European country, with a teenager with depression, we should not go down the road of death].

Last Wednesday, she recounted her experience in front of a judge, withstanding questions from the state's lawyers, who are asking for the case to be dismissed because they consider that the exceptions can be used arbitrarily.

In court, Samantha broke down at the memory of what she experienced, vomited and was taken to the bathroom, where she burst into tears. [Worse is enduring the probe with scissors, they say patients scream in pain and move and the baby killers order them not to move, for their own integrity. She vomited because she saw her daughter stop breathing...it makes me feel disgusted by a murderous mother].

-Going to jail

Some patients with financial means have had abortions in another state where this procedure is not yet criminalized. "But we didn't have the funds to go out of state. And besides, it's against the law," Samantha's husband, Luis, told AFP.
--
"We could go to jail, be fined, and if he (Luis) went with me he would also get in trouble. Who was going to take care of the children we already have? (...) We were not willing to take the risk and get in trouble," Samantha said. [Thank goodness the laws educate, those people saved them from killing their daughter while....could she feel pain?].

The plaintiffs, supported by the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), are also seeking a temporary injunction to block abortion bans in the event of pregnancy complications while the underlying issue is resolved.

The case is called Zurawski v. State of Texas, by Amanda Zurawski, who is spearheading the case.

"I almost died because of the inhumane abortion bans in Texas. When I needed an emergency abortion I was forced to go home and wait until I was sick enough to be treated," Amanda told a press conference. [She did not need an emergency abortion at any time, the child was born alive... but in the next paragraph she says the opposite. The devil's people are the children of the father of lies]. [I am sure this paragraph was put by the satanist division of abortionists. They want to blame the just of the sins the murderers make. Their children are born death, those murderous "mothers" have septic shocks, and many of them die because of the pill. They think we will carry their sins... satanists.]

In her situation, miscarriage was inevitable, but the doctor refused to intervene because the fetus' heart was still beating. She went into septic shock and almost died. The baby was born lifeless.

-Dying in her arms

My daughter "died in my arms. I was there the entire four hours" she survived in the hospital after being born in late March 2023, weeks shy of nine months, Luis recounted. [for abortions also demand hours after the abortion... what a trauma to be with her "loved" child in the baby last 4 hours!].

"She went from being warm to turning cold," Samantha said. "I called the doctors and asked them to check the baby's breathing, because I felt her going," Luis added.

Samantha recounted seeing her daughter gasp, as if asking for air. "Gradually she became purple" and expired. Dealing with funeral expenses was another dilemma for her tight finances.

She hopes the judge in the case will accept the lawsuit and there will be clarity to address similar cases, and "that the law will change so that other women don't go through what I went through."

Lauren Miller, another plaintiff, questioned those who oppose abortion in all its extremes.

"They call themselves pro-life, maybe better to just call them pro-lifers, because what they are talking about is not life (...) Samantha's daughter was short of breath (...) We shouldn't torture babies and call it pro-life," she sentenced. [We want them to live and if they are sick we want to take care of them until the last moment with the best of medicine, but not to cut them up like an animal.]

[The only comment I put in the post in Spanish:
Texas saved her from 80% chance of lifelong depression and therefore marriage problems. Saved her from 100% chance of not connecting with her new children. Saved her from a possible uterine tear...the baby was alive while in the womb. She should thank God that she was born and thank Him for the hope that little heart gave her while it was beating inside her.As long as there is life, there is hope.
They wanted to butcher the baby while she was alive and accuse us of the trauma she suffered to die naturally. She complains about the funeral expenses...she should have donated her corpse to science, so much funeral when she wanted to cut her into little pieces and have them thrown in the garbage. Really her hypocrisy is disgusting]

UPDATE FRIDAY 21: Note added to the news item about the mother "forced to carry to term a pregnancy of a baby incompatible with life": the baby was ILL but alive inside her mother. WE DO NOT KILL CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY ARE ILL, if they are going to die soon because there is no cure for them, we take care of them with love until the last moment
