THE THIRD COMMANDMENT

There are people who say that it is not necessary to go to Mass every Sunday. They say: what does it do to God if I don't go to Mass?
1) It does annoy God if you don't go to Mass since He gave you life and everything you need and He wants you at least on His day (Sunday in Spanish is domingo which comes from Latin and means "consecrated to the Lord") to visit Him and pay Him the tribute and worship He deserves. If not, you are robbing Him of that (7th Commandment), you do not love Him enough to visit Him on a day when you have nothing to do (1st Commandment), you do not honor Him as Father by visiting Him (4th Commandment), you are lying if you say you are Catholic because you do not follow the precepts of the Holy Church... St. Francis of Assisi said it, that if you break one Commandment you break them all.
2) It is wrong for you not to go to see God (if you are not in a state of grace, that is, if you did not go to Mass on a Sunday or feast day or you broke one of the other 10 Commandments or did any mortal sin you can only enter a church for confession). God gives you His Body and Blood as spiritual and material Food, His Word is preached and we celebrate Him as His children.
3) If you do not go to visit God in the celebration of His Holy Day, how do you expect Him to make you enter His rest, His eternal feast in Heaven? You are the one who turns away from Him and does not want to see Him. It is you who prefers the material things of the day (watching TV, eating out, sleeping more) and not God. You are the one who turns your back on Him and embraces the world, the enemy of the soul. So don't expect to be lifted up to Heaven, you decided it.
4) There are people who say that Sundays are boring. Those people only like the world and do not use Sunday to elevate their mind towards their Creator and Father, to think about how their life and soul is doing; how to be more holy and the good they have to do around them. Those people are bored because they do not use Sunday to read the Bible (you have to read it 15 minutes a day) and things of the Holy Tradition of the Church. Those people have an emptiness of lack of true light inside, and on Sunday they find that several false lights of the world went out and they suffer their inner emptiness, which will be an unbearable and eternal pain if they continue on that path of materialism since dying with a mortal sin takes you to hell, because with your denial of God, you chose the path contrary to Life, you did what you wanted. God, as the Good Father that He is, gave us His rules (which are good for the soul and the life of the body and the family and society) in His love gives you a thousand warnings or more in your conscience, if you want to take the time to listen to it. But as a Just Judge He gives His verdict when you die as to whether you can go up, whether you have to purify yourself in purgatory (if you died without mortal sin but without doing due penance) or whether you go with the majority of men to hell forever. On Sunday we take off the bonds of the world and dedicate it especially to God, to nurture the affection with the family He gave us, to see friends, to rest. But above all to participate devoutly in the Mass, to dedicate time to prayer (the prayer vigil should be daily) and to elevate our heart and soul to Him.

EL TERCER MANDAMIENTO
Hay gente que dice que no es necesario ir a Misa todos los domingos. Dicen: ¿a Dios qué le hace que yo no vaya a Misa?
1) A Dios sí le molesta que no vayas a Misa ya que Él te dio la vida y todo lo necesario y quiere que al menos en su día (Domingo por el domingo de Pascua de Resurrección que es el día del Señor y Domingo viene de la palabra Señor en latín) lo visites y le rindas el tributo y la adoración que se merece. Si no, estás robándole eso (7mo Mandamiento), no lo amas lo suficiente como para ir a visitarlo en un día donde no tienes nada que hacer (1er Mandamiento), no lo honras como Padre, visitándolo (4to Mandamiento), mientes si dices que eres católico porque no sigues los preceptos de la Santa Iglesia… Lo dijo San Francisco de Asís, que si rompes un Mandamiento los rompes todos.
2) A ti te hace mal no ir a ver a Dios (si no estás en estado de gracia, eso es, si no fuiste a Misa un domingo o fiesta de guardar o rompiste alguno de los otros 10 Mandamientos o hiciste algún pecado mortal sólo puedes entrar en una iglesia para confesarte). Dios te regala su Cuerpo y Sangre como Alimento espiritual y material, se predica Su Palabra y lo celebramos como sus hijos.
3) Si no vas a visitar a Dios en la celebración de su Dia Santo ¿cómo pretendes que Él te haga entrar en Su descanso, Su fiesta eterna en el Cielo? Eres tú el que se aparta de Él y no quiere verlo. Eres tú el que prefiere lo material del día (ver tv, salir a comer fuera, dormir más) y no a Dios. Eres tú el que le das la espalda y te abrazas al mundo, el enemigo del alma. Entonces no esperes que te eleven al Cielo, tú lo decidiste.
4) Hay gente que dice que los domingos son aburridos. A esa gente sólo le agrada el mundo y no usa el domingo para elevar su mente hacia su Creador y Padre, para pensar en cómo anda su vida y su alma; en cómo ser más santo y el bien que tiene que hacer alrededor. Esa gente se aburre porque no usa el domingo para leer la Biblia (hay que leerla 15 minutos diarios) y cosas de la Santa Tradición de la Iglesia. Esa gente tiene un vacío de falta de luz verdadera dentro, y en el domingo se encuentra con que se apagaron varias luces falsas del mundo y sufre su vacío interior, que será un dolor insoportable y eterno si sigue por ese camino del materialismo ya que morir con un pecado mortal te lleva al infierno, porque con tu negación de Dios, tú elegiste el camino contrario a la Vida, hiciste lo que quisiste. Dios, como Padre Bueno que Es nos dio sus reglas (que son las buenas para el alma y la vida del cuerpo y la familia y la sociedad) en su amor te da mil advertencias o más en tu conciencia, si quieres tomarte el tiempo de escucharla. Pero como Justo Juez emite su veredicto cuando te mueres de si puedes ir arriba, si te tienes que purificar en el purgatorio (si moriste sin pecado mortal pero sin hacer la debida penitencia) o si vas con la mayoría de los hombres al infierno para siempre. En el domingo nos quitamos las ataduras del mundo y se lo dedicamos especialmente a Dios, a fomentar el cariño con la familia que Él nos dio, a ver a los amigos, a descansar. Pero sobre todo a participar devotamente en la Misa, a dedicarle tiempo a la oración (la vigilia de oración debe ser diaria) y elevar nuestra alma y corazón hacia Él.
