EL SUFRIMIENTO:
Leí que el diplomático y escritor Paul Claudel dijo: "Dios no vino a suprimir el sufrimiento sino a llenarlo de Su presencia"
Eso a mí no me dice nada. Les voy a contar lo que yo entiendo: si nosotros sufrimos con fe, paciencia, soportando humillaciones o dolores por una causa noble ( conversiones, los niños pobres, etc), si nos esforzamos por dar frutos de virtudes en medio del dolor, ASOCIAMOS NUESTRA CRUZ A LA CRUZ DE CRISTO... ¡ Y ÉL GANÓ! ¡ Él resucitó y venció a la muerte, al infierno, al pecado! Subió al Cielo y es el Rey de todo lo creado y nos sigue amando.
Asociamos nuestros dolores a la Cruz Vencedora de Cristo y nuestros dolores tienen poder para pagar la penitencia que debemos, para nuestra conversión y la de los demás, para lograr milagros.
Él elige a sus amigos entre los que están dispuestos a sufrir por Él ( ayudarlo a convertir a otros). El sufrimiento nos hace mejores personas. Jesucristo es el Camino y el Camino pasa por la cruz. Los que se dedican a pasarla bien en esta vida no juntan méritos para la otra. El sufrimiento es necesario. Si la estamos pasando bien, busquemos formas de hacer penitencia y sacrificio... Dios nos va a dar más Luz y comprensión
Dirán: ¿ y con qué fe y esperanza sufre un bebé de 5 meses? Ese niño se asocia a la Cruz como otro Cristo, un inocente que sufre como consecuencia de los pecados de los otros. El castigo por el pecado es el sufrimiento y la muerte. Jesucristo le da sentido al sufrimiento y nos libra de la muerte eterna si le somos fieles.

SUFFERING:
I read that the diplomat and writer Paul Claudel said, "God did not come to suppress suffering but to fill it with His presence."
That doesn't mean anything to me. I will tell you what I understand: if we suffer with faith, patience, enduring humiliations or pain for a noble cause (conversions, poor children, etc.), if we strive to bear fruits of virtue in the midst of pain, WE ASSOCIATE OUR CROSS WITH CHRIST'S CROSS.... And HE WON! He rose from the dead and defeated death, hell, sin! He ascended to Heaven and is the King of all creation and continues to love us.
We associate our sorrows to the Conquering Cross of Christ and our sorrows have the power to pay the penance we owe, for our conversion and that of others, to achieve miracles....
He chooses His friends from among those who are willing to suffer for Him (to help Him convert others). Suffering makes us better people. Jesus Christ is the Way and the Way passes through the Cross. Those who dedicate themselves to having a good time in this life do not merit to enter the next. Suffering is necessary. If we are having a good time, let us look for ways to do penance and sacrifice.... God will give us more light and understanding
You may say: and with what faith and hope does a 5 month old baby suffer? That child is associated to the Cross as another Christ, an innocent who suffers as a consequence of the sins of others. The punishment for the sins of mankind is suffering and death. Jesus Christ gives meaning to suffering and frees us from eternal death if we are faithful to him.
