El progresismo parte del supuesto que la religión no tiene otro fundamento que el sentimiento religioso y por lo tanto:
- considera a la escritura como mero testimonio de tal sentimiento y no como la revelación de Dios y la Palabra de Jesucristo.
- El cristianismo ya no es la revelación y el cumplimiento de la serie de demandas que Dios planteó en las escrituras, sino la experiencia personal de lo divino en medio del mundo, que se puede tener en cualquier lado, sin estar atado a moralidades [parece que no recuerdan: AT “el hombre que tenga relaciones con otro hombre como se tienen con una mujer morirá”, NT: “si alguno escandalizare a estos pequeños que creen en mí, mejor que le ataren una cuerda de molino al cuello y lo echaran al mar”], porque la moralidad puede cambiar de época a época [no, es que está llegando la noche, y lo que cambia es que la luz está disminuyendo, pero La Luz sigue siendo La Luz] y podemos ver que algunos que se dicen católicos sostienen moralidades antagónicas al catecismo y sin embargo, no hay acuerdo entre los obispos para denunciarlos [porque muchísimos de ellos fueron elegidos por masones infiltrado y sirven a la masonería pagana, satánica y disoluta, porque la masonería sigue a satanás] como por ejemplo pasó con políticos de Estados Unidos a quienes no se les niega la comunión a pesar que proclaman una moralidad antagónica a la del catecismo, como si fuera la católica [agentes de la masonería que nunca merecieron llegar a donde llegaron, los puso la masonería]

- --los modernistas han difundido la idea de que gran parte de los evangelios son invenciones, relatos no históricos o simple reflejo de la experiencia de la primera comunidad
- -- Que Cristo no tenía muy claro que Él era Dios y ni siquiera el Mesías y que la Resurrección fue algo meramente espiritual y no histórico, de manera que Cristo, más que resucitar, sigue vivo en Dios , o en el recuerdo de sus discípulos. O sea que es una forma camuflada de decir que Cristo murió pero que queda su recuerdo como gran maestro espiritual
- -- Consideran la Misa como un banquete para compartir entre cristianos y no como el memorial del Sacrificio de Cristo en la Cruz. Del mismo modo que consideran la multiplicación de los panes y los peces en la Biblia no como milagros de multiplicación de estos alimentos sino como el milagros de que todos compartieran una cena y son escépticos en general a todos los milagros descritos en la Biblia y en las vidas de los santos y especialmente a todo los sobrenatural [materialismo] y las apariciones marianas.
- -- Niegan o minimizan que el Mar Rojo se abriera para dar paso a los judíos perseguidos por los carros del Faraón
- -- Niegan la Transubstanciación del pan y el vino en la Sangre de Cristo celebrados en la liturgia. Pero como es difícil que los fieles no reacciones negativamente, tratan de quitarle importancia o solemnidad a la transubstanciación
- -- Consideran el Amor de Dios aislado de su Justicia, justificando así la permisividad moral

- -- Niegan que el pecador tenga que pasar por el sufrimiento purificador en la tierra o en el purgatorio, creyendo que es suficiente para el pecador “desear la salvación” y “será salvo”
- --Minimizan la importancia de los poderes angélicos y demoníacos en la historia del mundo y en la vida mortal de cada hombre
- -- Reinterpretan la tentación demoníaca como defectos personales y trastornos mentales. Y cuando hablan del demonio no se refieren a un ser sino a una expresión humana sin decirlo expresamente.
- -- Aceptan las enseñanzas evolucionistas acerca de la creación del mundo y del hombre a tal punto de decir que Adán y Eva nunca existieron
- -- Para ellos la confesión es una descarga emocional porque no ponen el énfasis en la enmienda de vida de quien se confiesa. [No me lo enseñaron en 12 años de colegio católico, la enmienda de vida necesaria en cada confesión]
Pero todas estas cosas no las dicen directamente, porque entonces los fieles reaccionarían sino que van introduciendo la duda, y cuando se los enfrenta dan marcha atrás, se corrigen, pero luego vuelven a la carga, por ejemplo como sucedió con el general de los Jesuitas Arturo Sosa Abascal que dijo una vez que el diablo no existe, que es una figura simbólica para expresar el mal. Y la presión de los fieles le hizo retractarse. Pero un tiempo después repitió lo mismo y nuevamente tuvo que retractarse.
