They also decided that this June would be different, no Pride, or they would not play. They argue that athletes cannot be forced to be activists, and to top it off, for causes that have nothing to do with sports, and with which they do not agree. The National Hockey League board recognizes that the tables have turned, which translates to: LGBT totalitarianism is faltering. Excerpts from ConParticipation
In Sinaloa [ an State of México] an initiative against conversion therapies was presented and for this reason it is necessary that we bring it back to the conversation.
This initiative in its original version restricts liberties and affects parents. For this reason, several civil society organizations in Sinaloa participated in discussions in the Congress of Sinaloa to ask the deputies to punish violence (which some use in "therapeutic" processes that are not really therapies), but not freedom. Those who freely go to respectful, effective and professional therapies should not be persecuted or punished. Neither should parents who have children suffering from gender confusion and seek to take their children to these scientifically proven therapies.
In ConParticipación we condemn the use of violence (beatings, humiliation, coercive actions, physical abuse, deprivation of basic needs, torture, among others) in this type of therapies.

At the same time, we also condemn the criminalization of human rights such as freedom and the right to educate one's children. We speak of the freedom of the individual to choose the therapeutic approach he or she desires while respecting his or her sexual fluidity [careful, because it must be emphasized that "sexual fluidity" ends where the rights of others begin. Deputy Negrete's initiative originally proposed to apply "a sanction of four to six years in prison as well as the suspension and temporary disqualification to practice the profession for 8 to 10 years" to "mental health professionals in the public, social and private sectors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, technical or auxiliary professionals in the health disciplines and, in general, to any person related to medical practice, as well as ministers of worship, associates and representatives of religious associations, pastors, priests, coaches, academic institutions or any other profession that impart or promote conversion therapies (ECOSIG)" [
It also contemplated that moral persons would be subject to a "sanction of suspension of 5 years of activities of the society" and in the case of a religious association, "the temporary closure for 5 years of the premises destined for public worship and the temporary suspension for 5 years of the rights of religious association in the State of Sinaloa" [4].

In the case of minors, the initiative originally intended to punish parents who take their children to such therapies, as follows: "The father, mother or guardian will be jointly responsible with the person who imparted such conversion therapies. A penalty of four to six years of imprisonment will be applied to the father, mother or guardian of the minor who has been subjected to conversion therapies (ECOSIG). As well as the loss of the minor's parental authority" [5].
It is worth mentioning that the initiative passed in commissions, however, it was not voted by the plenary. [the legislators are using their brains!]

In her presentation Zulma Dueñas argued that it is necessary to punish violence, and at the same time respect freedom. She pointed out that the content of the initiative contains several errors:
1. it would send to reprimand with a judge to parents who take to therapy young children who suffer sex confusion, when it is precisely the parents who love the most and seek the greatest good of their children.
2. It would prohibit those who want to take therapy from going to therapy. "We are not talking about diseases to be cured, (nor) to change their sexual orientation, here is to defend the freedom of people to be able to make free decisions about their emotional and mental health," Zulma stressed.
3. It would unjustly send ministers of worship to jail for respectfully advising according to their beliefs.
4. I would send to jail psychologists, who have a duty to listen to what their clients want to share.
In conclusion Zulma exhorted those present: "Let's stop criminalizing freedom, freedom is not crime".

- Very hopeful news: the state of Karnataka, in India, has abolished the controversial law that prohibited conversion to other religions, punishing converts with long prison sentences. It was a law that also incited hatred and violence against Christians in particular. Hindu nationalism wants to brand those who abandon the Hindu religion as traitors to their country and culture. However, the Bishop of Bangalore, Monsignor Peter Machado, explains that Christians work within the constitutional legality for the good of all Hindus, whatever their creed and caste, reaching out especially to the poorest and most destitute. There are now only 9 out of 36 states in India that criminalize Conversion. Being the most populous country in the world, we rejoice in this victory for Freedom of Belief.

In this month of July there has been an abundance of campaigns, content and products promoting gender ideology in many countries, and we see it more in the United States because of the proximity we have, but Mexico does not escape this trend. This advertising bombardment has generated criticism, controversy, boycotts and there have even been companies that have been ridiculed by this type of campaigns. But the impact has also been unfavorable financially; some companies have had a significant drop in sales. We list some cases [1]:

Walt Disney Co.
When speaking of the way in which this world entertainment giant has been affected, it is necessary to know as background that the governor of Florida, Ron Desantis, carried out certain actions in his state, such as signing a law prohibiting "transgender women" -that is, men who perceive or feel themselves to be women- from participating in women's sports activities [2]. Another was banning the teaching of "sexual diversity" topics in schools before fourth grade [3]. Disney faces boycott as it is accused of promoting liberal and progressive agendas through its content. This has resulted in its shares dropping, causing it to accumulate a loss of 13% in just one month [4].
Target
This retail chain launched before June a collection of LGBT friendly clothing, which caused such an upset among customers and society that Target was forced to withdraw some items from its stores, as well as to make several changes in its strategy. Even with all this, the price of its shares was falling throughout the month of May [5].

The North Face
This outdoor recreation clothing and footwear company used Pattie Gonia, who is an LGBTQ+ activist and drag queen (who are generally men who characterize themselves as women, with exaggerated costumes and makeup and who perform shows), as the image of its Summer of Pride campaign. This action resulted in a boycott of the brand, which caused its stock to drop drastically [7].
What is the eagerness of all these companies to introduce this type of ideologized advertising? One of the possible answers is the "Corporate Equality Index", created by an LGBT lobby group. The objective of this index is to rate big brands on the level of "equality" they manage, for this reason, companies like Nike and Anheuser-Brush have hired public figures that belong to the LGBTQ collective, as this way they avoid losing points in this index.
Also, HRC, which is the most powerful LGBTQ political lobbying group worldwide, has generated scorecards so that companies that meet certain criteria and achieve the maximum score of 100 points on the index are awarded the title of "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality". This is known as the CEI (Customer Experience Index). HRC boasts that it has secured 15 of the 30 companies that are top-ranked in Fortune [8].

However, Derek Kreifels, CEO of the State Financial Officers Foundation and one of the people who has been most vocal against the IRB said that "The IRB is a very subjective political score that infiltrates all walks of life". Likewise, James Lindsay, head of Discourses, indicated that their IRB rating was mafia-like and labeled it "extortion" as they impose ideological agendas on society "that go beyond mere virtue signaling" [9].

The cultural conflicts that play out in various states become complicated when the legislature and the executive come from different parties. Take Louisiana for example: in the Bayou State, the legislature is heavily Republican, while Gov. John Bel Edwards is a Democrat.
In 2023, the state legislature passed multiple bills that sought to counter the transgender madness that’s sweeping our culture. The legislature voted on and passed three bills: HB81 would have required teachers and school staff to use a child’s birth pronouns unless parents consented to use alternate pronouns; HB466 was Louisiana’s version of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law; and HB648 prohibited gender treatments for minors. As one would expect of a Democrat, Edwards vetoed all three bills.
The GOP-dominated legislature began to work to override the vetoes, but Republicans couldn’t muster enough support to get to the two-thirds majority that the law requires to override the vetoes on HB81 and HB466. However, large majorities in both chambers voted to override Edwards’ veto of HB648, so that bill will become law.
“Thanks to the bi-partisan support of the Louisiana State Senate, we are one step closer to protecting children in Louisiana from experimental chemical and surgical sex change procedures. HB648 has passed both chambers of the state legislature with veto-proof majorities, and the people of Louisiana have made it clear that our children are worth fighting for,” State Rep. Gabe Firment (R-22nd district), who sponsored the bill, said in a statement.

Others who advocate for protecting kids from irreversible surgeries and a lifetime of hormone use cheered on the legislature’s actions as well.
“Vulnerable children will be safer now in Louisiana,” Mark Trammell, executive director of the Center for American Liberty, said to Fox News. “Governor Edwards’s failed veto shows that he cares more about appeasing special interest groups than protecting children from medical procedures and drugs that physically mutilate and sterilize.”
“The Louisiana legislature did the right thing here and the Center for American Liberty applauds its efforts,” Trammell added.
Edwards’ veto message for HB648 was a whopping six pages, and in it, he claimed the bill flies in the face of “parental rights” and “denies healthcare to a very small, unique, and vulnerable group of children.” He blamed “propaganda and misinformation generated by national interest groups” for the popularity of the legislation.
“There are so many fundamental problems with this bill that I must believe that many of its most staunch supporters have never read it word by word, line by line, like I have,” the governor concluded. “I think that in this instance, in following other Southern states passing this bill, legislators put politics over people without considering the practical impacts of the bill.”
In other words, Edwards parroted many of the same lines we’ve heard from Democrats anytime states work to protect kids. Good for the Louisiana legislature for standing up to Edwards and his boilerplate left-wing nonsense.

• El Centro Europeo para el Derecho y la Justicia ha celebrado el fallo del Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos, del 8 de junio, en el caso de varios demandantes pro aborto contra Polonia. Tras una presión enorme para reclamar que se pueda eliminar la vida del que va a nacer si tiene alguna discapacidad, especialmente síndrome de Down, el TEDH les ha negado la razón. Sin duda no es el final de la lucha por la Vida, pero hay que alegrarse de estas importantes victorias.

• En una carta dirigida al Congreso de los Estados Unidos, 129 líderes políticos, académicos, de negocios… de 15 países africanos, agradecen la ayuda que EEUU les ha concedido durante estos 20 años para combatir el SIDA. Aplauden el modelo original que se centraba en la epidemia, respetando los valores de cada país. Así se promovía la abstinencia, la fidelidad y la seguridad en las relaciones sexuales. Sin embargo, en la actual negociación para renovar esta ayuda, los firmantes denuncian el intento de vincular a la financiación de los programas contra el SIDA, los así llamados “programas de salud reproductiva” y “de planificación familiar” con una serie de prácticas, incluido el aborto, que van en contra de nuestros más arraigados valores respecto a la Vida, la Familia y la Religión. Estos líderes africanos rechazan la inversión millonaria en estos programas, que ni han solicitado ni necesitan, y piden la desvinculación de los mismos de la ayuda efectivamente necesaria para África. • La Liga Americana de beisbol ha anunciado que eliminará en todos los equipos, de todas las equipaciones, los signos LGTBI. Muchos jugadores de beisbol, de hockey, de fútbol y otros deportes y en todas las categorías se unieron negándose a llevar estos emblemas en sus equipaciones. Decidieron además que este mes de junio sería diferente, nada de Orgullo, o no jugarían. Argumentan que no se puede obligar a los deportistas a ser activistas, y para colmo, de causas que no tienen relación con el deporte, y con las que no están de acuerdo. La directiva de la Liga Nacional de Hockey reconoce que las tornas han cambiado, lo que se traduce en: el totalitarismo LGTB se tambalea. Este es un buen ejemplo de lo que pueden conseguir los ciudadanos con un poco de coraje.

En Sinaloa [ un Estado Mexicano] fue presentada una iniciativa contra las terapias de conversión y por ello es necesario que lo traigamos nuevamente a la conversación.
Esta iniciativa en su versión original coarta libertades y afecta a los padres de familia. Por ello varias organizaciones de la sociedad civil en Sinaloa participaron en conversatorios en el Congreso de dicha entidad para pedir a los diputados que castiguen la violencia (que algunos emplean en procesos “terapéuticos” que en realidad no son terapias), pero no la libertad. No se debe perseguir ni castigar a quienes libremente acudan a terapias respetuosas, eficaces y profesionales. Tampoco a los padres que tengan hijos que sufran confusión de sexo y busquen llevar a sus hijos a esas terapias probadas científicamente.
En ConParticipación condenamos el uso de la violencia (golpes, humillaciones, acciones coercitivas, maltrato físico, privación de necesidades básicas, torturas, entre otras) en este tipo de terapias. Y al mismo tiempo, también reprobamos la criminalización de derechos humanos como la libertad y el derecho de educar a los hijos. Hablamos de la libertad del individuo a escoger el enfoque terapéutico que desee respetando su fluidez sexual [cuidado, porque hay que recalcar que la “fluidez sexual” acaba donde empiezan los derechos de los demás. Cuidado porque el Q incluye pederastas y los niños tienen derecho a ser protegidos. Cuidado porque no deben ser adoptados por homosexuales ya que los archivos del FBI dicen que el 80% de los homosexuales son tales porque en su niñez fueron atacados sexualmente por un amigo de la familia], la libertad también del padre de familia a ejercer su patria potestad con sus hijos, aquella de los profesionales de la salud al ejercicio de su profesión, y la de los ministros de culto en su expresión y creencias.
[La aberración que fue aprobada en primera instancia y luego no prosperó en México:]
Esta propuesta contemplaba modificaciones al Código Familiar, al Código Penal, a la Ley de los Derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes, y a la Ley de Salud Mental, todas ellas del estado de Sinaloa [2].
La iniciativa de la diputada Negrete originalmente proponía aplicar “una sanción de cuatro a seis años de prisión así como la suspensión e inhabilitación temporal para ejercer la profesión de 8 a 10 años” a “profesionales de la salud mental de los sectores público, social y privado, psicólogos, psiquiatras, terapeutas, profesionales técnicos o auxiliares en las disciplinas para la salud y, en general, a toda persona relacionada con la práctica médica, así como ministros de culto, los asociados y los representantes de las asociaciones religiosas, pastores, curas; coach; instituciones académicas o cualquier otra profesión que impartan o promuevan las terapias de conversión (ECOSIG)” [3].
También contemplaba que a las personas morales se les aplicara “sanción de suspensión de 5 años de actividades de la sociedad” y tratándose de alguna asociación religiosa se les aplicara “la clausura temporal por 5 años del local que destinaren para el culto público y la suspensión temporal por 5 años de derechos de asociación religiosa en el Estado de Sinaloa” [4].
En el caso de menores de edad, la iniciativa originalmente pretendía castigar a los padres que llevaran a sus hijos a esas terapias, así lo expresaba: “El padre, madre o tutor será responsable de manera conjunta con la persona que impartió dichas terapias de conversión. Se aplicará sanción de cuatro a seis años de prisión, al padre, madre o tutor del menor de edad que haya sido sometido a terapias de conversión (ECOSIG). Así como a la pérdida de la patria potestad del menor” [5].
Cabe mencionar que la iniciativa pasó en comisiones, sin embargo, no fue votada por el pleno. [¡los legisladores están usando su cerebro!]

En su exposición Zulma Dueñas argumentó que es necesario castigar la violencia, y al mismo tiempo respetar la libertad. Señaló que el contenido de la iniciativa contiene varios errores:
1. Mandaría a amonestación con un juez a los padres de familia que lleven a terapia a hijos pequeños que sufren confusión de sexo, cuando son precisamente los padres quienes más aman y procuran el mayor bien de sus hijos.
2. Prohibiría ir a terapia a quienes quieren tomarla. “No estamos hablando de enfermedades que curar, (ni) cambiar su orientación sexual, aquí es defender la libertad de las personas de poder tomar decisiones libres sobre su salud emocional y mental”, subrayó Zulma.
3. Mandaría a la cárcel injustamente a los ministros de culto por aconsejar respetuosamente según su creencia.
4. Mandaría a la cárcel a los psicólogos, quienes tienen el deber de escuchar lo que sus clientes quieren compartir.
En conclusión Zulma exhortó a los presentes: “Dejemos de criminalizar la libertad, la libertad no es crimen”.

Una buena noticia de Enraizados en Cristo:
• Una noticia muy esperanzadora: el estado de Karnataka, en la India, ha abolido la controvertida ley que prohibía la conversión a otras religiones, castigando a los conversos con largas penas de cárcel. Era una ley que además incitaba al odio y a la violencia contra, principalmente, los cristianos. El nacionalismo hindú quiere señalar como traidores a la patria y a su cultura a quienes abandonan la religión hinduista. Por ejemplo, la reforma al Código Civil de Nuevo León mediante la cual se aprobó dar acta de matrimonio a las parejas del mismo sexo. O la marcha “de la diversidad” organizada en Monterrey. O la resolución de la Suprema Corte por la cual los niños podrán elegir de qué “género” se sienten en sus actas de nacimiento, es decir, si un niño quiere cambiar su acta para que diga que es niña, podrá hacerlo [¡no están preparados, no saben nada de la vida!]. [La gente reacciona]
En este mes de julio han abundado las campañas, contenidos y productos en los que se promueve la ideología de género en muchos países, y lo vemos más en Estados Unidos por la cercanía que tenemos, pero México no escapa a esta tendencia. Este bombardeo publicitario ha generado críticas, polémica, boicots y hasta ha habido compañías que han quedado en ridículo por este tipo de campañas. Pero además el impacto ha sido desfavorable en lo financiero; algunas empresas han tenido un descenso importante en las ventas. Enlistamos algunos casos [1]:
Walt Disney Co.
Al hablar de la forma en que se ha visto afectado este gigante del entretenimiento mundial, hay que saber como antecedente que el gobernador de Florida, Ron Desantis, llevó a cabo en su estado ciertas acciones, como firmar una ley que prohíbe que las “mujeres transgénero” —es decir, hombres que se perciben o se sienten mujeres— participen en actividades deportivas femeninas [2]. Otra de ellas fue la prohibición de que se impartan temas de “diversidad sexual” en las escuelas antes de cuarto de primaria [3]. Disney se enfrenta al boicot ya que es acusado de promover agendas liberales y progresistas a través de sus contenidos. Lo anterior ha traído como resultado que sus acciones bajaran, lo cual hizo que acumulara una pérdida del 13% tan solo en un mes [4].
Target
Esta cadena de tiendas lanzó antes de junio una colección de ropa LGBT friendly (“amigable” con el colectivo LGBT), lo que causó tal molestia entre los mismos clientes y en la sociedad, que Target se vio obligado a retirar algunos artículos de sus tiendas, así como realizar varios cambios en su estrategia. Aún con todo esto, el precio de sus acciones fue descendiendo durante todo el mes de mayo [5].
Bud Light
La compañía Anheuser-Bush InvBev, propietaria de la famosa cerveza Bud Light, realizó una campaña publicitaria que fue publicada en redes sociales. En esta aparece como principal figura Dylan Mulvaney, un famoso influencer que se identifica como transexual. Esto causó indignación en la sociedad de tal forma que ni Bud Light ni Budweiser ha tuiteado durante más de un mes y sus acciones han bajaron considerablemente durante el mes de mayo [6].
The North Face
Esta compañía de ropa y calzado para recreación al aire libre usó de imagen de su campaña Summer of Pride (“Verano del orgullo”) a Pattie Gonia, quien es activista LGBTQ+ y drag queen (que en general son hombres que se caracterizan como mujeres, con vestuario y maquillaje exagerados y que hacen espectáculos). Esta acción resultó en un boicot hacia la marca, lo cual tuvo como consecuencia que sus acciones cayeran drásticamente [7].
¿Cuál es el afán de todas estas compañías de introducir este tipo de publicidad ideologizada? Una de las posibles respuestas es el “Índice de Igualdad Corporativa”, creado por un grupo de presión LGBT. El objetivo de este índice es calificar a las grandes marcas sobre el nivel de “igualdad” que manejan, por esta razón, empresas como Nike y Anheuser-Brush han contratado a personajes públicos que pertenecen al colectivo LGBTQ, pues así evitan perder puntos en este índice.
Asimismo, HRC, que es el grupo de presión política LGBTQ más poderoso a nivel mundial, ha generado tarjetas de puntuación de tal forma que las empresas que cumplen ciertos criterios y logran obtener la puntuación máxima de 100 puntos en el índice, son catalogados con el título de “Mejor lugar para trabajar por la igualdad LGBTQ”. Esto se conoce como el CEI (Customer Experience Index). HRC alarde que ha conseguido a 15 de las 30 empresas que están mejor calificadas en Fortune [8].
Sin embargo, Derek Kreifels, Consejero Delegado de la State Financial Officers Foundation y una de las personas que más ha levantado la voz en contra del CEI expresó que “El CEI es una puntuación política muy subjetiva que se infiltra en todos los ámbitos de la vida». Así mismo, James Lindsay, jefe de Discourses, indicó que su clasificación en el CEI era mafiosa y la tachó de “extorsión” ya que imponen a la sociedad agendas ideológicas “que van más allá de la mera señalización de virtudes” [9].

Los conflictos culturales que tienen lugar en varios estados se complican cuando el legislativo y el ejecutivo proceden de partidos diferentes. Tomemos Luisiana como ejemplo: en el Estado del Bayou, la legislatura es mayoritariamente republicana, mientras que el gobernador John Bel Edwards es demócrata.
En 2023, la legislatura estatal aprobó múltiples proyectos de ley que pretendían contrarrestar la locura transgénero que está arrasando nuestra cultura. La legislatura votó y aprobó tres proyectos de ley: La HB81 habría obligado a los profesores y al personal escolar a utilizar los pronombres de nacimiento de un niño a menos que los padres consintieran en utilizar pronombres alternativos; la HB466 era la versión de Luisiana de la ley de Florida sobre Derechos de los Padres en la Educación; y la HB648 prohibía los tratamientos de género para menores. Como cabía esperar de un demócrata, Edwards vetó los tres proyectos.
La legislatura dominada por el GOP comenzó a trabajar para anular los vetos, pero los republicanos no pudieron reunir el apoyo suficiente para llegar a la mayoría de dos tercios que la ley requiere para anular los vetos de HB81 y HB466. Sin embargo, las grandes mayorías en ambas cámaras votaron para anular el veto de Edwards de HB648, por lo que el proyecto se convertirá en ley.
"Gracias al apoyo bipartidista del Senado del Estado de Luisiana, estamos un paso más cerca de proteger a los niños de Luisiana de los procedimientos químicos y quirúrgicos experimentales de cambio de sexo. El proyecto de ley HB648 ha sido aprobado por ambas cámaras de la legislatura estatal con mayorías a prueba de veto, y el pueblo de Luisiana ha dejado claro que merece la pena luchar por nuestros niños", declaró en un comunicado el representante estatal Gabe Firment (R-22º distrito), que patrocinó el proyecto de ley.

Otros que abogan por proteger a los niños de cirugías irreversibles y del uso de hormonas de por vida también aplaudieron las acciones de la legislatura.
"Los niños vulnerables estarán más seguros ahora en Luisiana", declaró a Fox News Mark Trammell, director ejecutivo del Center for American Liberty. "El veto fallido del gobernador Edwards demuestra que le importa más apaciguar a los grupos de intereses especiales que proteger a los niños de procedimientos médicos y medicamentos que mutilan y esterilizan físicamente".
"La legislatura de Luisiana hizo lo correcto aquí y el Center for American Liberty aplaude sus esfuerzos", añadió Trammell.
El mensaje de veto de Edwards a la ley HB648 tenía la friolera de seis páginas, y en él afirmaba que el proyecto de ley va en contra de los "derechos de los padres" y "niega la asistencia sanitaria a un grupo muy pequeño, único y vulnerable de niños." Culpó a "la propaganda y la desinformación generadas por grupos de interés nacionales" de la popularidad de la legislación.
"Hay tantos problemas fundamentales con este proyecto de ley que debo creer que muchos de sus partidarios más acérrimos nunca lo han leído palabra por palabra, línea por línea, como yo", concluyó el gobernador. "Creo que en este caso, al seguir a otros estados del Sur que aprobaron este proyecto de ley, los legisladores antepusieron la política a las personas sin tener en cuenta las repercusiones prácticas del proyecto".
En otras palabras, Edwards repitió como un loro muchas de las mismas líneas que hemos oído de los demócratas cada vez que los estados trabajan para proteger a los niños. Bien por la legislatura de Luisiana por plantar cara a Edwards y a sus tonterías de izquierdas.
