En la lista de 222 presos políticos que fueron desterrados por la dictadura de Daniel Ortega y Rosario Murillo [Nicaragua] la mañana de este nueve de febrero [del 2023] no figura el nombre del obispo de Matagalpa, Rolando Álvarez, quien enfrenta un juicio político por los supuestos delitos de “conspiración y propagación de noticias falsas”. De acuerdo con fuentes de la Iglesia católica, la policía lo sacó del inmueble donde cumplía arresto domiciliario y fue trasladado a la temida prisión de El Chipote, tras negarse a abordar el avión que llevó a los encarcelados a Washington.

“Que sean libres, yo pago la condena de ellos”, dijo el obispo Álvarez, de acuerdo a las fuentes católicas. su familia no ha visto al prelado desde que fue sacado de la vivienda. El martes pasado se conoció que la jueza sandinista, Nadia Camila Tardencilla Rodríguez, adelantó el juicio político del jerarca católico para este 15 de febrero, ya que estaba programado para el 28 de marzo. Las fuentes religiosas han coincidido que ese caso ha estado en un impasse por dos razones fundamentales: la primera es que los Ortega-Murillo le habían ofrecido “exilio o cárcel” al obispo, pero él se ha negado rotundamente a “abandonar su patria”. Una decisión que el obispo mantuvo este jueves con el destierro de los presos políticos.

El obispo Álvarez, la voz más crítica del catolicismo frente a las violaciones a los derechos humanos en Nicaragua, fue apresado en agosto de 2022 junto a seis religiosos y un laico cuando una tromba policial irrumpió de madrugada en la casa cural de Matagalpa. En sus populares homilías criticaba los desmanes sandinistas. El religioso se ha caracterizado por un carácter firme y decidido, al punto que antes de su apresamiento se arrodilló ante una fila policial armada que lo rodeaba en Matagalpa.

Hasta el momento, la alta jerarquía católica y el Vaticano mantienen silencio absoluto ante la persecución religiosa en Nicaragua, que ya suma nueve sacerdotes y religiosos condenados en un clima de prohibición de procesiones a diferentes parroquias y un número de párrocos exiliados en ascenso.

De acuerdo con fuentes judiciales consultadas por EL PAÍS, la Fiscalía “fábrica las pruebas” contra el obispo Álvarez basadas en sus homilías críticas que eran esparcidas en redes sociales, con el fin de “desestabilizar” al Gobierno. Es decir, que perfilan al obispo como “un gran conspirador”.

Mientras tanto, tras la llegada del avión del destierro a la capital norteamericana, el secretario de Estado de Estados Unidos, Antony Blinken, dijo que “la liberación abre la puerta al diálogo con Managua”. El funcionario de la Administración de Joe Biden agregó que “los acontecimientos de hoy son producto de la diplomacia estadounidense”, y que su país continuará apoyando al pueblo nicaragüense.

Salió una noticia en el portal de SMN con una alusión al terremoto de Turkía que decía “y esos niños ¿qué crimen cometieron?” Resulta que los planificadores de un solo mundo quieren instaurar una religión mundial falsa que tenga como premisas la adoración del hombre, el “karma” etc. y así hacer un mundo de todos pobres menos un pequeño grupo de ricos esclavizadores que serían “respetados” porque el “karma” los trata bien. También la Biblia nos dice en el libro de los Salmos que “por poco no me doy un resbalón considerando cuán bien les va a los ricos” y luego entiende que Dios les está pavimentando el camino al infierno (ellos tienen tiempo para leer la Biblia y buenos libros y meditar, dinero para comprarlos y hacen el bien y no lo hacen) y sabemos que el camino del pobre está pavimentado para llegar al Cielo ya que son solidarios entre sí y al pedir a Dios como niños, Él los escucha y pueden empezar un camino de fidelidad a Dios si es que lo quieren seguir de verdad. --
