Video Transcript: Why does the U.S. need NATO to survive?

There is an idea that is sounding stronger and stronger in certain political circles in the USA, we are talking about the MAGA environment and the sectors closest to the Republican Party and especially those closest to Trump. The idea that is repeated in rallies, in interviews, in postcads and in Donald Trump's own speeches seeks quick applause. It seeks to make a problem lighter or less conflictive than it really is. He says that NATO needs the United States much more than the United States needs NATO countries.
What they are trying to tell us from Washington is that the US could turn off the tap, withdraw its troops, turn off the lights and go home without much happening. Trump has greatly stirred up the idea that Europe is a burden, a superfluous expense, an expensive partner, an ally that consumes resources and also contributes little. And in fact, now, with the war in Iran, they say that NATO is not there when the U.S. needs help. This is all well and good when you're giving a populist rally, but when you get out of that scenario and sit down at the table with real analysts, generals, US strategists, people who have been studying how global power is maintained for decades, you realize that it's not that simple. Without NATO, the US does not exactly gain independence but loses a lot of power.
And not a little, but key pieces of a system that has been building for years and that in many ways resembles the structure of a modern empire.
Let's start with something very tangible: military bases
The US maintains more than 50 military bases spread throughout Europe, where some 84,000 US soldiers live. We are talking about bases that are gigantic complexes, which can be easily compared to small cities and each base functions as a logistics node, where there are command centers and launch pads for operations around the world. For example, the Rammstein air base [I don't know if it's spelled correctly], in Germany is the largest US air base outside its territory and from there operations affecting the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia are coordinated. If troops have to be deployed, if the US has to transport material or launch an operation in these regions, Rammstein is always going to be in the center of the map. We have seen it with the war in Iran, how there were dozens of planes a day going to bases such as Rammstein. This air base is one of the great logistical hearts of American military power.
Then there's the Rav Lanken Heart, which is in the UK, and is home to the only KCF 35 of USA in Europe. From there, aircraft are operated that not only patrol European space, but can project force to much more distant regions in a matter of hours.
These bases, obviously, are not gifts to Europe, they are not favors, they can defend European territory, but really for the USA it is much more. They are gateways to the rest of the world. They are the difference between arriving early for a deployment or arriving late.
And if we go down the map to Spain, we have two real strategic jewels: the base of Rota and the base of Morón.
The Rota naval base in Spain is one of the most valuable points that Washington has right now in all of Europe, because it controls one of the most important sea lanes on the planet: access to the Mediterranean through the Atlantic, through Gibraltar. From there, U.S. destroyers equipped with the X system operate that are capable of intercepting ballistic missiles and monitoring movements from North Africa to the Middle East. In practical terms, it is like a military hinge between two worlds.
Then there is the Morón de la Frontera base, in Seville. A base that functions as a rapid response platform to Africa. If there is a crisis in the Sahel, as we are experiencing today and if the US has to carry out rapid bombings and if the US has to evacuate citizens because a government has fallen into the hands of a military or terrorist group, if special forces have to be deployed because there has been a kidnapping or if an urgent operation has to be launched in the north of the African continent, for example, in Libya or a hypothetical conflict that may exist between Morocco and Algeria, since Morón is close enough to react in hours and not days.
For the USA, losing Rota and Morón would not mean losing two more bases, it would be losing two master keys that open their door to the Mediterranean
You know: Europe is depended on as a base to attack North Africa, as the Middle East, as West Africa, to defend Europe, for the Arctic issue, in short. It is key that the United States has access to this network of bases.
THE SECOND KEY ELEMENT:
An element that no budget can buy and that no engineer can replicate, an element that cannot be replicated by the enemies of the USA: we are talking about geography. The USA has a key element that is very good and bad at the same time, it is far from practically everything. It only borders two countries and is far from almost all the major sources of tension on the planet.
When I talk about borders, I'm talking about land borders. I know that, for example, they have Russia nearby. But they are far from the Middle East, from Africa, very far from the area of Russia that is populated, far from the Arctic, because everything in the USA is separated by gigantic oceans.
Europe, on the other hand, is right in the center of the geopolitical chessboard. From European territory you can reach North Africa very easily, in fact Spain has territories in Africa: Ceuta and Melilla. You can also keep an eye on the Mediterranean and project force towards the Middle East and you can look directly towards the western border with Russia. It is a natural power projection platform that no aircraft carrier can replace. An aircraft carrier is very impressive, yes, and carries within it the air force of many countries, but it does not replace an entire continent full of infrastructure, airfields and logistical routes.
Without Europe, the US would have to launch every major operation from its own territory, crossing oceans from its own territory. Something that greatly limits what you can do and what you can't. In a hypothetical war, every extra km is wasted time, money spent, and time you give the enemy to fortify himself, improve his defenses, adjust his doctrine, etc. So it is very important for the United States to belong to NATO.
ANOTHER DIMENSION
There is another dimension that has nothing to do with planes and tanks and that is even more decisive in wars and we have been able to see it in the war in Ukraine in the early stages and in the two wars that have taken place in Iran. And we are talking about intelligence, information: the secrets that you can know about your opponent and that allow you to anticipate the enemy before he makes a move.
The US does not spy alone, but does so with the collaboration of its allies, and we are talking about European agencies such as the British GTHQ or the M16 and other intelligence networks that feed off each other and then share in different forums. And then there's the Five Files agreement, which is an alliance that multiplies global surveillance capacity to levels that no country has ever had before. We are talking about satellites, listening stations, submarines. All of this forms a gigantic network that allows us to observe the different movements, intercept communications and detect threats before they become open crises. If that communication is weakened or broken, the U.S. global surveillance capacity will also suffer. And when you lose information, you lose an advantage that has been seen to be ultra-important.
And the problem with losing this advantage is that the US would lose the ability to anticipate conflicts. He would not have anticipated the invasion of Ukraine as he did on February 24, or he could have much less information, not only from Iran but from its entire network of allies. And not to mention the fight against terrorism, against drug trafficking, against common crime.
BEYOND THIS
Let's move up a step on the ladder of power: nuclear weapons. The USA has, together with Ruisa, the largest arsenal in the world. But it is not the only global player within the Western world. France and the United Kingdom have independent arsenals, in fact France has announced that it wants to make it bigger. That is to say that they do not depend on Washington to launch their missiles. As long as they are aligned in NATO, they are part of a cohesive nuclear bloc, a common nuclear umbrella. A bloc that in extreme cases would act in the same direction. But if the alliance weakens, if NATO breaks up, or disappears, then the certainty of that alliance will disappear. That doesn't mean France and the UK will immediately become opponents for the USA, but they are no longer obliged to play on the same team in the event that things get bad. And even more so when it seems that it is the United States that can start wars at its own discretion.
And of course, in the nuclear world, in the world of this strategic weapons of last resort, the difference between having reliable allies and having independent actors who may have some sympathy for you, but who neither suit nor are they going, is enormous. In the end, every warhead counts, every ally counts, and every launch pad counts. So losing two nuclear powers aligned with you is no foolishness, it's a very serious change.
THE HARDEST THING FOR MANY
And now we come to something that often hurts much more than any missile, we have to talk about money, about dollars. Because NATO is not only a military alliance, you can also see it as a gigantic market for the American arms industry. The European member countries of NATO are the largest arms customers of the United States. They buy fighters, Apache helicopters, Patriot defense systems and a long list of military equipment that moves hundreds of billions of dollars. This translates into functioning factories, jobs in the USA, in entire cities whose economy depends on these contracts. In Spain we know this well, cities such as El Ferrol or Cádiz depend entirely on those contracts that come from sales of military equipment abroad. If the US or Europe decides that NATO has broken up, it would be logical for Europe to try to develop and buy European weapons in greater quantities. We are talking about European aircraft, European systems, in short, everything that means European technology as long as it is possible, because there are things that are done in the USA that are not done in Europe. But hey, everything that was possible would be taken from European industry itself.
And that is when giants such as L. Martin or Boeing would see their largest foreign market evaporate practically overnight. And this would be a huge shock for the United States.
But there is still something deeper than contracts and factories. We're talking about something that actually sustains American hegemony in the world economy. We are talking about the hegemony of the dollar.
In addition to protecting territories, NATO also protects a global economic system in which the dollar occupies the center, the backbone of this economy. The allies trust the United States because it offers security, stability and this defense capability that we are talking about. That confidence in the end translates into that when the powers go to trade, they do so in dollars, because it is backed by the greatest power in the world and by a friendly country that is trusted. [Trust only in God, people].
What many countries do is have their reserves in dollars. And the entire financial network, what it ends up doing is circulating in the US currency. In the end, if that alliance network is weakened, the temptation to look for alternatives grows. Other countries may start using their currencies, diversifying their reserves, building parallel financial systems. And when the dollar loses prominence, what suffers is the ability of the US to refinance its debt, to maintain its level of spending and sustain its economic standard of living.
What is the competitive advantage of the USA right now with respect to other countries? Well, since the dollar is in so much demand, the US can print dollars without causing as much inflation as the rest of the countries. Well, in the end neither the European Central Bank nor the Bank of China, nor the Bank of Japan, nor the Bank of England, no one has the power to print as much money as the US does without increasing inflation.
ONE OF THE MOST VALUABLE PIECES OF THE SYSTEM
We are talking about group insurance. NATO has something that no other in the world has, which is a legal commitment signed by dozens of countries that oblige themselves to defend each other if one of them is attacked, although this can sometimes be a dead letter, if not, just ask Pakistan with Saudi Arabia. Well, that means that if the United States were attacked, it would not be alone, it would have behind it a gigantic coalition, obliged by Treaty, I insist, signed, to respond.
And this is not a story, it has already happened. The only time in history when NATO's famous Article 5 was activated was after the 9/11 attack in 2001. It was to defend the United States in fact and it was to initiate the military campaign against Afghanistan. By the way, more than 1,100 allied soldiers died in Afghanistan responding to this call, tell this to Washington's managers who know nothing about history who complain about the commitment of European allies to the United States. More than 1100 allied lives sacrificed to defend the USA and to "avenge", let's say it in quotation marks to the USA of the 9/11 attack. There has never been such an important endorsement when it has been required.
And if NATO disappears, this commitment disappears, and the US is going to have to look for the chestnuts or rather, pull the chestnuts out of the fire, alone.
LEADERSHIP DIMENSION
This dimension is super important, world leadership, NATO makes the USA an undisputed leader. A very large bloc of countries, and the most developed countries on the planet, or an amalgam where the most developed countries are.
This gives the United States the ability to develop strategies, to influence collective decisions, and to set the pace and course of international security. In the end, without NATO, the US would continue to be powerful, a formidable army and would have a gigantic economy that supports a war scenario, but it would lose something fundamental, which is that centrality.
It would go from being the leader of a global alliance to being a great powerful but more alone country. And while that was happening, bottles of champagne would be opened in other capitals of the world, because, imagine China or Russia seeing the United States weakened and disappear from NATO, it would be a gift from heaven, of incalculable strategic value. It would ultimately be an opportunity for China to reconfigure the entire global balance in its favor.
And I think it would be the final nail in the coffin to US hegemony. In the end, when someone claims that the US would be better off without NATO, what they are really proposing is to give up a series of advantages that have sustained its power for decades.

¿Por qué Estados Unidos necesita a la OTAN para sobrevivir?

Hay una idea que cada vez suena más fuerte en ciertos círculos políticos de USA, hablamos del entorno MAGA y de los sectores más cercanos al partido republicano y especialmente los más cercanos a Trump . La idea que se repite en mitines, en entrevistas, en postcads y en los propios discursos de Donald Trump busca el aplauso rápido. Busca que un problema sea más liviano o menos conflictivo de lo que realmente es. Dice que la OTAN necesita a USA mucho más de lo que USA necesita a los países de la OTAN.
Lo que nos intentan decir desde Washington es que USA podría cerrar el grifo, retirar sus tropas, apagar las luces y marcharse a casa sin que ocurriera gran cosa. Trump ha agitado mucho la idea de que Europa es una carga, un gasto superfluo, un socio caro, un aliado que consume recursos y que además aporta poco. Y de hecho, ahora, con la guerra de Irán dicen que la OTAN no está allí cuando USA necesita ayuda. Esto está muy bien cuando estás dando un mitin populista, pero cuadno sales de ese escenario y sientas a la mesa a los analistas de verdad, a los generales, a los estrategas de USA, a gente que en definitiva lleva décadas estudiando cómo se mantiene el poder global, te das cuenta que la cosa no es tan sencilla. Y es que sin la OTAN, USA no gana precisamente independencia sino que pierde mucho poder. Y no poquito, sino piezas clave de un sistema que lleva años construyéndose y que en muchos sentidos se parece a la estructura de un imperio moderno.
Empecemos por algo muy tangible: las bases militares
USA mantiene más de 50 bases militares repartidas por toda Europa, donde viven unos 84.000 soldados norteamericanos. Hablamos de bases que son complejos gigantescos, que se pueden comparar fácilmente a pequeñas ciudades y cada base funciona como un nodo logístico, donde hay centros de mando y plataformas de lanzamiento para operaciones en medio mundo. Por ej. la base aérea de Rammstein [no sé si está bien escrito], en Alemania es la mayor base aérea estadounidense fuera de su territorio y desde allí se coordinan las operaciones que afectan a Oriente Medio, Africa y Asia central. Si hay que desplegar tropas, si USA tiene que transportar material o lanzar una operación en estas regiones, Rammstein va a estar siempre en el centro del mapa. Lo hemos visto con la guerra de Irán, cómo había decenas de aviones diarios yendo a bases como la de Rammstein. Esta base aérea es uno de los grandes corazones logísticos del poder militar estadounidense.
Luego está la Rav Lanken Heart, que está en Reino Unido, y que es el hogar del único KCF 35 de USA en Europa. Desde allí se operan aviones que no sólo patrullan el espacio europeo, sino que pueden proyectar fuerza a regiones mucho más lejanas en cuestión de horas. Estas bases, obviamente no son regalos regalos a Europa, no son favores, sí pueden defender territorio europeo, pero realmente para USA es mucho más. Son puertas de entrada al resto del mundo. Son la diferencia entre llegar temprano a un despliegue o llegar tarde.
Y si bajamos en el mapa hasta España, tenemos dos auténticas joyas estratégicas: la base de Rota y la base de Morón.
La base naval de Rota en España es uno de los puntos más valiosos que tiene ahora mismo Washington en todo el territorio europeo, porque controla una de las vías marítimas más importantes del planeta: el acceso al Mediterráneo a través del Atlántico, a través de Gibraltar. Desde allí operan destructores estadounidenses equipados con el sistema X que son capaces de interceptar misiles balísticos y vigilar los movimientos que van desde del norte de Africa hasta Oriente medio. En términos prácticos es como una bisagra militar entre dos mundos.
Luego está la base de Morón de la frontera, en Sevilla. Una base que funciona como una plataforma de respuesta rápida hacia Africa. Si hay una crisis en el sahel, como estamos viviendo en el dia de hoy y si USA tiene que hacer bombardeos rápidos y si USA tiene que evacuar ciudadanos porque ha caído un gobierno en manos de un grupo militar o terrorista, si hay que desplegar fuerzas especiales porque ha habido un secuestro o si hay que lanzar una operación urgente en el norte del continente africano, por ej. en Libia o un hipotético conflicto que pueda haber entre Marruecos y Argelia, pues Morón está lo suficientemente cerca para reaccionar en horas y no en días.
Para USA, perder Rota y Morón no sería perder dos bases más, sería perder dos llaves maestras que abren su puerta al Mediterráneo
Ya sabéis: se depende de Europa como base para atacar el norte de Africa, como oriente medio, como el Africa occidental, para defender Europa, para el tema del Ártico, en fin. Es clave que USA tenga acceso a esta red de bases.
EL SEGUNDO ELEMENTO CLAVE:
Un elemento que ningún presupuesto puede comprar y que ningún ingeniero puede replicar, un elemento irreplicable por los enemigos de USA: hablamos de la geografía. USA tiene un elemento clave que es muy bueno y malo a la vez, está lejos de prácticamente todo. Sólo tiene frontera con dos países y está lejos de casi todos los grandes focos de tensión del planeta. Cuando hablo de fronteras hablo de las terrestres. Ya sé que, por ej. tienen a Rusia cerquita. Pero están lejos de Oriente Medio, de Africa, muy lejos de la zona de Rusia que está poblada, lejos del Artico, pues todo en USA está separado por océanos gigantescos.
Europa en cambio, está justo en el centro del tablero geopolítico. Desde el territorio europeo puedes alcanzar el norte de Africa con mucha facilidad, de hecho España tiene territorios en Africa: Ceuta y Melilla. También puedes vigilar el Mediterráneo y proyectar fuerza hacia Oriente medio y puedes mirar directamente hacia la frontera occidental con Rusia. Es una plataforma natural de proyección de poder que ningún portaaviones puede sustituir. Un portaaviones es muy impresionante, sí, y lleva dentro la fuerza aérea de muchos países, pero no reemplaza a un continente entero lleno de infraestructuras, aeródromos y rutas logísticas.
Sin Europa, USA tendría que lanzar cada operación importante desde su propio territorio, cruzando océanos desde su propio territorio. Algo que limita mucho lo que puedes hacer y lo que no. En una hipotética guerra cada km extra es tiempo perdido dinero gastado y tiempo que das al enemigo para que se fortifique, mejore sus defensas, ajuste su doctrina, etc. Asi que es muy importante para USA el pertenecer a la OTAN
OTRA DIMENSIÓN
Hay otra dimensión que no tiene que ver con aviones y tanques y que es aún más decisiva en las guerras y la hemos podido ver en la guerra de Ucrania en los primeros compases y en las dos guerras que ha habido en Irán. Y estamos hablando de la inteligencia, la información: los secretos que puedes saber de tu oponente y que te permiten anticiparte al enemigo antes de que éste mueva ficha. Y es que USA no espía solo, sino que lo hace con la colaboración de sus aliados, y hablamos de las agencias europeas como el GTHQ británico o el M16 y otras redes de inteligencia que se van alimentando unas a otras y luego se ponen en común en diferentes foros. Y luego está el acuerdo del Five Files, que es una alianza que multiplica la capacidad de vigilancia global a niveles que ningún país ha tenido jamás antes. Hablamos de satélites, de estaciones de escucha, de submarinos. Todo que forma una red gigantesca que permite observar los distintos movientos, interceptar comunicaciones y detectar las amenazas antes de que se conviertan en crisis abiertas. Si esa comunicación se debilita o se rompe, la capacidad de vigilancia global de USA también se va a resentir. Y cuando pierdes información, pierdes una ventaja que se ha visto que es ultra importante.
Y el problema de perder esta ventaja es que USA perdería capacidad de anticipar conflictos. No hubiera anticipado la invasión a Ucrania como la anticipó el 24 de febrero, o podría tener mucha menos información, no sólo de Irán sino de toda su red de aliados. Y ni hablar de la lucha contra el terrorismo, contra el narcotráfico, contra la delincuencia común
MÁS ALLÁ DE ESTO
Subamos un escalón en la escala de poder: las armas nucleares. USA tiene junto con Ruisa el mayor arsenal del mundo. Pero no es el único actor mundial dentro del mundo occidental. Francia y Reino Unido poseen arsenales independientes, de hecho Francia ha anunciado que lo quiere hacer más grande. Es decir que no dependen de Washington para lanzar sus misiles. Mientras estén alineados en la OTAN forman parte de un bloque nuclear cohesionado, de un paraguas nuclear común. Un bloque que en caso extremo actuaría en la misma dirección. Pero si la alianza se debilita, si la OTAN se rompe, o desaparece, pues la certeza de esa alianza va a desaparecer. Eso no significa que Francia y Reino Unido se conviertan inmediatamente en adversarios de USA pero ya no están obligados a jugar en el mismo equipo en el caso de que las cosas se pongan malas. Y más aún cuando parece que es Estados Unidos el que puede empezar guerras a su total discreción.
Y claro, en el mundo nuclear, en el mundo de este armamento estratégico de última opción la diferencia entre tener aliados fiables y tener actores independientes que pueden tener algo de simpatía por ti, pero que ni les va ni les viene, es enorme. Al final, cada cabeza nuclear cuenta, cada aliado cuenta y cada plataforma de lanzamiento cuenta. Así que perder dos potencias nucleares alineadas contigo no es ninguna tontería, es un cambio muy serio.
LO MÁS DURO PARA MUCHOS
Y ahora llegamos a algo que a menudo duele mucho más que ningún misil, tenemos que hablar del dinero, de los dólares. Porque la OTAN no es sólo una alianza militar, también lo puedes ver como un mercado gigantesco para la industria armamentística estadounidense. Los países europeos miembros de la OTAN son los mayores clientes armamentísticos de USA. Compran cazas, helicópteros Apache, sistemas de defensa Patriot y una larga lista de equipamientos militar que mueve cientos de miles de millones de dólares. Esto se traduce en fábricas funcionando, en empleos en USA, en ciudades enteras cuya economía depende de esos contratos. En España eso lo conocemos bien, ciudades como El Ferrol o Cadiz dependen totalmente de esos contratos que llegan de ventas de equipamiento militara exterior. Si USA o Europa deciden que la OTAN se ha roto, lo lógico sería que Europa intentase desarrollar y comprar armamento europeo en mayor cantidad. Hablamos de aviones europeos, sistemas europeos, en fin, todo lo que signifique tecnología europea siempre y cuando sea posible, porque hay cosas que se hacen en USA que en Europa no se hacen. Pero bueno, todo lo que fuera posible se trataría de sacar de la propia industria europea.
Y es ahí cuando gigantes como Logit Martin o Boeing vería evaporarse su mayor mercado exterior prácticamente de la noche a la mañana. Y esto sería una sacudida enorme para USA.
Pero aún hay algo más profundo que los contratos y las fábricas. Estamos hablando de algo que realmente sostiene la hegemonía estadounidense en la economía mundial. Estamos hablando de la hegemonía del dólar.
Y es que la OTAN además de proteger territorios, también protege un sistema económico global en el que el dólar ocupa el centro, la columna vertebral de esta economía. Los aliados confían en USA porque ofrece seguridad, estabilidad y esta capacidad de defensa de la que estamos hablando. Esa confianza al final se traduce en que cuando las potencias van a comerciar, lo hacen en dólares, porque está respaldado por la mayor potencia del mundo y por un país amigo en el que se confía. [Confiar sólo en Dios, gente].
Muchos países lo que hacen es tener sus reservas en dólares. Y toda la red financiera, lo que acaba haciendo es circular en la moneda estadounidense. Al final si esa red de alianza se debilita, la tentación de buscar alternativas crece. Otros países pueden empezar a usar sus monedas, a diversificar sus reservas, a construir sistemas financieros paralelos. Y cuando el dólar pierde protagonismo, lo que se resiente es la capacidad de USA para refinanciar su deuda, para mantener su nivel de gasto y sostener su nivel de vida económico.
¿Cuál es ahora mismo la ventaja competitiva de USA para con los otros países? Pues que como se demanda tanto el dólar, USA puede imprimir dólares sin causar tanta inflación como el resto de los países. Pues al final ni el Banco central Europeo ni el Banco de China, ni el Banco de Japón, ni el Banco de Inglaterra, nadie tiene el poder de imprimir tanto dinero como hace USA sin aumentar la inflación.
UNA DE LAS PIEZAS MÁS VALIOSAS DEL SISTEMA.
Hablamos del seguro colectivo. La OTAN tiene algo que no tiene ningún otro en el mundo, que es un compromiso legal firmado por decenas de países que se obligan a defenderse mutuamente si uno de ellos es atacado, aunque esto a veces puede ser papel mojado, si no, que se lo pregunten a Pakistán con Arabia Saudí. Bueno, eso significa que si USA fuera atacado, no estaría solo, tendría detrás a una coalición gigantesca, obligada por Tratado, insisto, firmado, a responder.
Y esto no es cuento, ya ha ocurrido. El único momento en la historia en que se activó el famoso artículo 5 de la OTAN fue después del atentado del 11S en 2001. Fue para defender de hecho a USA y fue para iniciar la campaña militar contra Afganistán. Por cierto, más de 1100 soldados aliados murieron en Afganistán respondiendo a esta llamada, para cuando los gerifantes de Washington que no saben nada de historia se quejen del compromiso de los aliados europeos para con USA. Más de 1100 vidas aliadas sacrificadas para defender a USA y por “vengar”, vamos a decirlo entre comillas a USA del ataque del 11 S. Nunca ha habido un respaldo tan importante cuando se ha requerido.
Y si la OTAN desaparece, este compromiso desaparece, y USA va a tener que buscarse las castañas o sacarse, mejor dicho, las castañas del fuego, en solitario.
DIMENSIÓN DEL LIDERAZGO
Esta dimensión es súper importante, el liderazgo mundial, la OTAN convierte a USA en un líder indiscutido. Un bloque muy grande de países, y de los países más desarrollados del planeta, o de una amalgama donde están los países más desarrollados.
Esto le da a USA la capacidad de desarrollar estrategias, de influir en las decisiones colectivas y de marcar el ritmo y el rumbo de la seguridad internacional. Al final, sin la OTAN, USA seguiría siendo poderoso, un ejército formidable y tendría una economía gigantesca que soporta un escenario bélico, pero perdería algo fundamental que es esa centralidad.
Pasaría a ser de ser el líder de una alianza global a ser un gran país poderoso pero más solo. Y mientras eso ocurriera, en otras capitales del mundo se abrirían botellas de champán, porque, imaginaros a China o a Rusia ver a USA debilitada y desaparecida de la OTAN, sería un regalo caído del cielo, de un valor estratégico incalculable. Sería al final una oportunidad para China de reconfigurar todo el equilibrio global a su favor.
Y yo creo que sería la puntilla a la hegemonía de USA. Al final cuando alguien afirma que USA estaría mejor sin la OTAN, lo que en realidad está planteando es renunciar a una serie de ventajas que han sostenido su poder durante décadas.

Escuchando este video, de que en Alemania está la base aérea más importante de USA, y que controla el norte de Africa y Oriente Medio recuerdo que los Rothchild son los que controlan a los musulmanes…
Y Trump no se guía por razonamiento sino por impulsos luego de que algún asesor de los suyos pero que trabaja para los planificadores de un solo mundo, le cuenta alguna historia. Me parece de eso de que “no poseerás nada, pero serás feliz” (mentira cochina del demonio, nadie es feliz siendo esclavo y esa “felicidad” será que te den un vaso de coca-cola) también la están aplicando a los países. Quieren dejar a USA pobre, debilitada… y a occidente también y encima con aborto y homosexualidad, que atraen la justa ira de Dios sin falta.
Hay que erradicar el aborto y la homosexualidad y urgente, la educación sexual de los niños, y volver a la belleza y sabiduría de la Santa Tradición, si quieren que las agujas del reloj vuelvan atrás una media hora. ]
