Sins against the first commandment
162. The first commandment prohibits:
1º To worship or believe in false idols or gods.
2º Believing something against the faith or doubting some of its mysteries or ignoring the necessary.
3º To distrust the mercy of God.
163. The first commandment further prohibits reading, supporting or propagating writings contrary to Catholic doctrine; taking part in any false worship; believing in guises (omen), sorcerers, soothsayers and spiritists, and using superstitious things.

The superstition
Superstition, is to give the creature the worship due only to God, or give God worship in an improper way.
They are superstitions: idolatry, vain observance, divination, magic, sorcery, spinning tables, magnetism in some effects and spiritism.
Idolatry, is to give a creature the supreme worship of worship due only to God.
Vain observance, is to use means not provided or instituted by God, to obtain a certain effect. It is of three kinds:
1º The art of acquiring science without work.
2º The art of healing with various signs or sacred things.
3º Observation of events; in view of a random event, fate or misfortune is calculated.
The vain observance is known:
1ºFor the inadequacy of the cause to produce naturally the intended effect.
2º The addition of a vain or false circumstance, as necessary.
3º For the infallibility that is given to means in no way infallible.
It is superstition: To attribute to a prayer or to a certain number of crosses the virtue of certainly curing an illness. Have for days of misfortune on Tuesday or Friday; consider as bad omen the number 13, break a glass, spill salt; carry amulets to have luck or avoid misfortune, etc.
It is a sin, therefore, to claim to unfailingly cure diseases only by prayer or other inappropriate means.
Some holy people have healed diseases with prayer alone; but this was a miracle, and such people did not attribute to their prayers the infallible virtue of healing diseases.
Divination, is to pretend to find out the hidden things with the help of the devil.
Divination is done by the stars, by the lines of the hands, by chance, by dreams, by letters, etc.
Those who go to ask the soothsayers, make them tell their fortune, etc. [the Gypsies are those who usually say that string of lies, they ask for money in return but even when someone gives them something without wanting "his hand to be read", they insist on "reading it", they insist on the person do this sin, they work for the devil]. It shall not be a grave sin if it is made to play, without either side giving credit; but these things must not be done even by play.
God alone knows the contingent and free future; the soothsayers cannot know it.
The dreams sent by God, to make known His will, are very rare; for the signs that accompany them it is certainly known to be different from natural or diabolical dreams.
Superstitious magic is the art of doing extraordinary things which, though not supernatural, are superior to man’s forces and therefore can only be done by diabolical intervention.
[Tell your children that Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers, told us that satan, in human body, is going to ensnare young people with his magic and later they will realize that they sold their soul to the devil.
A tip: You have to get them away from the TV and teach them to hate all show, love good books that teach truths and especially the Bible and the lives of saints and prayer and meditation, and obvious: obey Our Lady of the Roses. ]
Witchcraft or sorcery, is the art of harm with the intervention of the devil.
Cases of witchcraft or sorcery are very rare. Witches are usually in the head of the ignorant.
[Maybe that was before, but now there are groups of satanists in every neighborhood. They even advertise openly on the internet to gather people for their black masses. Those who have come out of these groups say that they bestialize and kill children, no wonder, since in the USA 1000 children are kidnapped per day. ]
This superstition is the cause even of murder and other very serious crimes.
He who is in the grace of God must not fear [and must use the sacramentals that Our Lady of the Roses says for protection, and his children too], for he has God as Father, who protects him with a special providence. [And the Blessed Virgin is our Mother given by God and we must obey Her, the Messages of Our Lady of the Roses are certain] The good Christian does not pretend to find out the future by illicit means; he trusts in the Divine Providence and lives peacefully.
Rotating tables: it is a sin of superstition to ask questions to the rotating tables; answers can only be by diabolical intervention. [And how many children and young people had to be exorcised for playing with the board of the uija! ]
Animal magnetism or hypnotism are almost the same; in general, they are forbidden by the great moral and even physical dangers that they contain.
They may be morally lawful provided that it is understood to exclude all diabolical intervention, recourse is made to purely natural means and to achieve also purely natural effects, in that case the end is good and honest, and due care is taken to prevent any abuse.
In order not to be mistaken, do not do any of these things without consulting the confessor. [Remember that Saint Teresa of Avila, doctor of the Church, advises us to choose a learned confessor, obviously, in the things of the Holy Tradition]
The spiritism or consultation made to the spirits is a gravest sin.
The less religion a people has, the more it is full of superstitions.

The irreligiosity
Irreligiosity is a special irreverence inferred to God, people and sacred things.
Sacrilege is the desecration of a place, person or thing consecrated to God and destined for His worship.
Tempting God is saying or doing something to prove whether God is wise, powerful, or endowed with any other perfection.
Simony is the attempt to buy or sell for a temporary price something spiritual or attached to the spiritual [e.g. a post of superior of a monastery, bishopric, etc.]
Wickedness is to deny God all worship.
164. Unfortunately, there are now false sects and cults, such as Protestants, spiritists, Masons, idolaters, Jews, Mohammedans [islamists], communists, socialists and others.
The main ungodly sects are: Liberalism, Freemasonry, Socialism [socialism is communism] and Anarchism.
Liberalism is the system that takes as the sole and exclusive criterion of every private or public moral act the reason and will of man, regardless of God. [I suppose those who paint on the walls of other people: "lawless", that is, chaos, where the violent destroys the social fabric and everything is reduced to misfortune]
Being liberal used to mean being generous, magnanimous; now it usually means belonging to a sect condemned by the Church.
Masonry is a society whose main purpose is to make war on the Catholic Church.
Socialism has the same end as Freemasonry.
To deceive the workers, socialism promises them the distribution of all goods, social equality, etc.
[Socialism is communism, in the Russian revolution of 1917 workers were promised that all would be owners of Russia, other Tsars, and, obviously, ended up all slaves of a system that had a handful of leaders with diamond collars on the dogs but the population in misery, slave, without the right to private property.
Only the social doctrine of the Church is a brake on the greed and bad vices of mankind, which "is inclined to evil since its youth" tells us the Old Testament. Half of the planet wants to come to live in the western and Christian side, because they have slavery in their countries (muslims, communists etc.) and although they realize that our civilization is better, they envy us and that envy causes them to hate and their leaders try to destroy and enslave us.]
Anarchism is the system that proclaims the destruction of all power and authority, even by violence. [Another satanic idiocy, because order and just laws are needed for there to be peace and good How can people be so blind that they follow these theories? Because mortal sin, the lack of God’s Light in their souls, blinds them, makes them vulnerable to the lies of the devil, who by evil ways promises them happiness, i.e. "you will be like God" told Adam and Eve not to observe the command that God had given them, and they were expelled from paradise, and death and pain came to the world, now tells them that not fulfilling the 10 Commandments or the precepts of God they will resurrect "holy, perfect, happy", another lie, because God is just, He rewards the good and punishes the wicked, in this world He does it generally spiritually (those of God have peace even in the midst of persecutions, the wicked envy our peace, without peace one does not enjoy even wealth), in the next life, in full sense. Now, as the Occ. and Christian civilization has betrayed God (homosexuality, abortion, Communion in the hand and other infiltrated satanism, sexual education and lgtbi ideology for children... , God is going to purify the whole world and His Church with much pain for all, unless Church and the world return to the Holy Tradition. ]
Fanaticism is the fury of the sectarians, produced by false ideas.
[They are in mortal sin, evil spirits inhabit them and move them].
He who faithfully observes the laws of the Church (confesses and receives the Holy Communion often) is not a fanatic but a devotee. [And he loves everyone, even his enemies, seeking the good of all people, but that does not prevent him from defending the Church and society against groups who hate them]
The ignorant and malicious confuse devotion with fanaticism.
Devotion is a virtue, fanaticism is a vice.
[We give logical reasons to explain our faith, they have only insults, only hatred based on unfounded ideas. Someone said very cleverly: "all fools know how to build a perfect world, after having destroyed it". Those who believe themselves to be characters of the Old Testament think they are Jeremiah, and are to "destroy and build, pluck and plant" but Jeremiah belonged to God and therefore the people disobeyed him and killed him, they only know how to disobey God. ]
