127. Father Rua's mother, 1884
In a letter to his vicar, Father Rúa, Don Bosco wrote to him:
Last night, January 20, I saw in a dream that your mother came into my room and started to go through the closet where my clothes are, and when she saw them full of moths, she said to me: "You must tell Casinos clothier that you must not let your clothes get damaged like that, because they cost a lot of money.
Note: Father Rúa's mother replaced Mother Margarita at the Oratory when she died, and for several years she took care of the Salesians and the students with the care of a loving mother. Casinis was a clothier at that time and later became a priest and missionary in America.

128. St. Peter and Paul, 1884
On February 13 I saw in a dream the following: It seemed to me that St. Peter and St. Paul appeared to me. They were smiling kindly at me. Suddenly St. Peter asked me: "And when are you going to publish the life of St. Peter? And St. Paul added: "And why don't you publish the life of St. Paul? In fact, I had planned to publish the lives of these two Apostles, but then I forgot about it.
I humbly asked him to excuse me and St. Paul warned me: "If you don't do it soon, there won't be time later.
Then I saw St. Peter begin to pray, saying: "Glory to God the Father Creator, Glory to God the Son Redeemer, Glory to God the Holy Spirit Sanctifier. Glory be to God the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier. To God alone be glory and praise forever and ever. And to You, O Mary, may the heavens and the earth acclaim You as Queen, Mary!
Mary!... Mary"....
And he pronounced this name, pausing between each exclamation with an expression of affection and veneration that attracted everyone's attention.
As soon as St. Peter finished praying, St. Paul began to say: "O depth of the divine plans! Great God, your secrets are inaccessible to mortals. Only in Heaven can mankind know a little of the mysteries of God. To Thee, O God, One and Triune, to Thee honor and thanksgiving from all points of the universe. O Mary: may Your name be praised and blessed by all. May the heavens sing Your glory and on earth may You always be the Help of Christians. Queen of all Saints. Alleluia. Alleluia.
When I heard these words sung with such enthusiasm, I felt such a great emotion that I began to cry and... I woke up.
Note: Don Bosco had this dream after a very serious illness in which he almost died. In those days, Father Barberis told the young Salesians: "Only if someone offers a heroic act will Don Bosco's life be preserved.
And so the cleric Gamerro offered his life to God so that Don Bosco would not die yet. Two days later, this young man, who was in perfect health, suffered a stroke and died. Before dying he told that the Blessed Virgin had come to announce to him that She would take him to Heaven. God accepted this change and took the cleric and preserved the life of the Holy Founder.
When Don Bosco heard this news, he exclaimed: "It was up to me to go now for eternity. But Our Lord decided to take the young Gamerro to Heaven first.
The Saint lived for another 4 years and during these years he accomplished prodigious works.
