JESUS AND THE CHILDREN
(Mt 19,13-15)

Children were super obedient to their parents at that time. And they must always be (unless they are ordered to do something that is sin). The girls of Garabandal said that in the morning they did "whatever their parents ordered" and then went to school. Those children of Jesus' time had not stained their eyes with TV or movies or bad social nets, nor had they seen bad dressed people on the beaches. They were obedient and pure.
Children, if they are not stuffed with screens, like to learn to do the things that parents do, and they should learn and not kill screen time.

Jesus is the most obedient, perfect Son of the Father. He came out of obedience and love for the Father to give His life as a ransom for a multitude.

Just on Sunday, September 28 (two days before giving this catechesis in Spanish) I posted a Message from Our Lady of the Roses on my Facebook where the Virgin Mary says that St. Therese is the perfect lily (the lily represents purity), Message of October 2, 1974. And one day before the catechesis (September 29) was the feast of the Three Archangels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, which Our Lady of the Roses commands us to pray to ask for their guidance.
The day after the catechesis was the feast of St. Therese (October 1), she taught us the path of spiritual childhood. And a day later was the feast of the guardian angels (October 2nd), God entrusts the greatest angels to guard the little ones. Children must learn from their earliest childhood to call their angels, Our Lady of the Roses tells us.

I copy a poem by Saint Teresa of Jesus (Saint Teresa of Avila, foundress of the Discalced Carmelites), in whose order, 300 years later, Saint Therese (Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face), the little flower, entered. Both are Doctors of the Church.

This prayer is beautiful because it speaks of love, humility, and obedience (as we should always be before God: children, no matter how old we are).
Prayer in general is not primarily to ask God for things but to know His Will and ask Him for the graces we need to fulfill it. It is not so that God comes into our lives to give us this or that, but to understand more about Him and to know Him more and serve Him better. If we are saints God will make miracles trough us.

This is why we are in this world: to know, love and serve God, everything else is accessory. We also ask Him for what we need, but the main thing is to know Him, love Him and follow Him.
