Singleness hurts. Silence weighs heavily. Questions corner you: "What if I stay alone? What if I pass the time?"

But the wrong marriage hurts more. Because you don't cry alone. You cry under the same roof that you swore would be your refuge.

A bad marriage isn't just bad company. It is a spiritual chain.

It is waking up every day with someone with whom you cannot pray, you cannot dream, you cannot build for God.

It's having to put out your fire to keep the peace. It is to silence your call so as not to bother those who sleep next to you.

Singleness gives you the opportunity to say to God, "Prepare me first."

An unequal yoke forces you to say to God, "I leave You so that I won't lose her."

Many prefer the quick pain of loneliness to the slow pain of a house without God.

And they end up married, with children, in debt, with a dead ministry and a divided heart.

Because they believed it was better to have someone than to have God.

God does not punish you with waiting. It protects you with it.

Waiting is the workshop where He cuts out what is left over, heals what hurts, and forms the character that will sustain what is to come.

A marriage without God is sustained by human effort. A marriage with God is sustained by divine covenant.

Don't lower the standard so you're not alone.

Better to stay alone with God, than in bad company losing your purpose.

Singleness is temporary. A bad marriage can mark you for life.

And what you mark on earth, you face in eternity.

Wait.

It is better to weep for a season in obedience than to weep a lifetime in disobedience.

Because when God unites, he sustains. When man forces, the soul breaks.

Your future is worth more than your anxiety.

Wait on God. He is not late.

Él no llega tarde.
